• [May 15, 2007] Significant improvements in navigation
  We are restructuring the relationship between entities that will make it easier and more logical for advertisers and publishers to manage. If you see an error message, our developers are working to sort it out. We appreciate your patience. This upgrade allows ads to be created by both publishers and advertisers.

  Publishers

  Publishers can create ads on behalf of advertiser and then link to the advertiser. Publishers can see stats/reports for the ads they are serving for any advertiser (only the ads that created by the publisher and those given access to the publisher by the advertiser). This is different from before and instead of seeing stats for the advertiser' campaigns, you'll see stats for the advertiser (those ads you have access). If you need to break up the advertiser's ads into multiple sets, you can use the "Group" feature from the main menu.

  Advertisers

  Advertiser can also create new ads and link to publishers for serving. Ads does not need to be inside a campaign to link between advertiser & publisher. Campaigns are setup and managed by the advertiser.

  This feature is new and our team is working to correct and smooth out all related issues ASAP.

  AdSpeed API (Application Programming Interface) is an add-on service we provide to our clients. Publishers and advertisers can write software to automatically collect information about their zones, ads, campaigns, reports directly from AdSpeed. Learn more
• [Apr 07, 2007] Invoice Management
  Publishers can create and send invoices to advertisers. Both paid and unpaid invoices can be accessed online by publishers (follow menu Home/Advertisers/Invoices) and advertisers (follow menu Home/Publishers/Invoices). An invoice can have multiple items and can be paid by different payment methods.

  Invoice Payment

  When receiving the email invoice, the advertiser can click on the invoice link to view and make payment. For check or other offline methods of payment, publishers can manually mark the invoice as paid upon receiving completed payment from advertisers. If the payment method is PayPal, the payment is automatically recorded after the system receive an automated notification from PayPal.

  Publishers and advertisers can set ad rates for any individual ad. Cost per raw/unique 1000 impressions (CPM), cost per raw/unique click (CPC), cost per conversion/transaction (CPA), and flat/one-time fee. Revenue reporting is available for publishers and expense reporting is available to advertisers for hourly, daily, monthly, and total amount.

  For US and Canada, you can see the number of visitors from each state/province with a map and a data grid. For other countries, you can see the ranking list of regions and the number of visitors.
• [Jan 26, 2007] Block ad serving to web spiders/crawlers
  To avoid wasting impressions and retain accurate stats, you can choose to block ad serving to non-human visitors, including web spiders/crawlers. This option can be enabled and disabled by following the menu Home/Profile and click on Options.

  Publishers with many ads now have an additional layer of ad management and classification. A group is a collection of ads so you can quickly access them. Groups do not have serving code like zone. For example, you can create a group CookingAds for ads related to cooking, which could also be assigned to different zones for serving purpose. More Details

  Advertisers can put a piece of HTML code to their shopping carts or any e-commerce system to track after-click activities, including conversions, transactions and their dollar values.

  When viewing a stats report (Basics, CTR, Conversions) for any entity (Publisher, Advertiser, Zone, Ad, Campaign), there is an option to subscribe to the live bookmarks via RSS feeds. For Firefox users, the feed icon should appear at the end of the address bar.

  In additional to putting restrictions on any individual ad, you can put restrictions on any zone or campaign. This is a new feature and if there is any issue, please submit a technical ticket to our staff.

  When viewing visitor stats reports, you can select a date range (from - to) or a predefined range (eg: last week, last month, etc.) to narrow down the available stats.

  New restriction methods allow you to limit a number of views for each visitor within a period of time. For example: 3 views/visitor/12-hour. Or a visitor should not see this ad again for 20 minutes. To apply these restrictions, click on the Restrictions tab when viewing ad details.
