What are restrictions? Logic Explained

  • Restrictions are used to limit the display of ads using certain criteria. For example: Ad "Test123" should only be displayed during Monday, from 9-5, for visitors from Canada. See a full list of available restrictions.
  • The X and check mark for the evaluation column means that for this row, if the current/sample value satisfies the condition, it will pass. This column will be different for visitors depending on his/her browser, IP, originating country and other per-visitor criteria you defined. This evaluation does NOT mean there is a conflict with other restrictions.
  • Restrictions should not be added if the ads can always be showed. For example: if you want this ad to display all days, you do NOT need to create a restriction to show in all 7 days (Mon-Sun)
  • Logic: A OR B is true when either A or B is true
  • Logic: A AND B is true only when both A and B are true
  • Note: Please verify the restrictions for potential conflicts. For example: There is a restriction for Y to show to English and Vietnamese visitors and at the same time, there is another restriction to hide from Vietnamese visitors.
