What are visitor profiles?
A visitor profile includes detailed information about a visitor. It includes: IP addresses, referring pages, visited pages, geographical location, ads viewed/clicked, time, browser and operating system information. Reports that use visitor profiles are Visitor Tracking, Site Tracking, Technical Tracking and Geographical Tracking.
Privacy
Since we value the privacy of your visitors, no personally identifiable information is included. Maintaining all visitor records will not only decrease the privacy protection for visitors but also slow down our real-time reporting system significantly.
Data Retention
Records older than
90 days are permanently deleted from our databases and cannot be recovered. Additionally, there is a maximum of number of
1000 detailed visitor profiles available for each ad. You can
purchase an add-on to increase this number.
Detailed views and
detailed clicks reports show the list of visitor profiles. As more recent data is processed, older data will be removed. Therefore, this number increases as new visitor profiles are recorded and decreases as old profiles are removed from the database.
Data Availability
The data could come from today's stats or could be from last week's stats. It depends on your site traffic. With more impressions, these records will be from more recent impressions. Reports with detailed visitor profiles (Visitor Tracking, Site Tracking, Technical Tracking and Geographical Tracking) use statistical samplings. These reports do not include all visitors in the specified time frame. Our system collects a large amount of data daily (millions of visitor records per day, every day). The servers then process the data and reduce to a smaller, representative and more manageable set by selecting random entries.
