Each browser reports a string called user agent string. This string can be parsed for browser name, version, operating system, language. For example: English version of Firefox 1.5 on Windows XP. No personal information is contained in the user agent string so visitor's privacy is not affected. Our database maintains a collection of over one hundred thousand different user agents. This page reports some breakdown stats that might be useful to publishers, webmasters, researchers or anyone with interests in the market shares of different browsers. Operating Systems
