Why do I have to click twice on Flash ads?

When moving the mouse over a Flash ad using Internet Explorer, you see the message "Click to activate and use this control" instead of interacting directly with the object. This makes visitors have to click twice on Flash ads to get redirected to the final destination.

Because of a legal pattern dispute between Microsoft and Eolas, Internet Explorer users can no longer directly interact with ActiveX controls loaded by the EMBED/OBJECT elements. Users can interact with such controls after activating each control's user interface.

Our system has a built-in solution so the details described here are for your information only. Other browsers (Firefox, Opera, etc.) are not affected by this problem.
