Serving code (ad tag) is a small piece of HTML code to put into your webpages where you want to display ads. Do NOT put this serving code in spy/adware applications because it will get your account suspended.
The serving code looks something like this:
You can get serving code for each Zone (rotation ads within this zone) or any specific Ad (no rotation, always display this one ad)
To generate serving code, click on a zone/ad name, click on the Serving tab. On this page, you can change other settings and the serving code will be automatically updated
Using "spot" feature (JavaScript) is incompatible with refresh feature (IFRAME)
JavaScript will delay the loading of HTML code after the ad placement until the ads are displayed (serially, sequentially). IFrames are loaded independently (parallel) from the rest of the page.
For email ad serving, most email clients do not allow <script> or <iframe>, and also disable cookie. This prevents ad rotation functionality. Therefore, you cannot use the serving code for zone, it is only available for individual ads. You can only track impression/click for any specific ad in email ad serving
You can use one serving code to serve different/multiple size ads. Press Ctrl/Command key and click on the sizes from the selection box. Text-links cannot be matched with image ads.
