Privacy Statement for Ad Serving

The following document discloses the information gathering and dissemination practices for advertisements served by AdSpeed.com Ad Server (AdSpeed).

Personally Identifiable Information (PII)

AdSpeed does not collect personally-identifiable information for advertisements served by AdSpeed. Information such as name, address, email address, telephone, SSN and other private data are considered personally-identifiable information.

Information Collection and Use

Non-personally identifiable information is automatically recorded in our system when you view, click or interact with an advertisement served by AdSpeed: anonymized/truncated IP address (geographical information), truncated referring page URL, truncated visited page URL, viewed/clicked ad ID, zone ID (ad placement), user-agent string (browser and operating system information), language, screen resolution, time zone, date and time. Numeric counters are also increased upon certain activities such as the number of ad views and ad clicks. This information is used to target advertising and generate reports on ad campaigns.

AdSpeed does not share these non-personal records with any third-party entity other than the original publisher, which uses AdSpeed for serving ads on their website. If you want to know how the collected data is being used, please contact the individual publisher, which is the website you visited, for a copy of its privacy statement.

Data Retention

To protect your privacy, not all non-personal records are processed and retained. By default, non-personal records are randomly selected for retention while the rest is deleted. Our client can optionally purchase a paid add-on from us to keep more records.

Non-personal records older than 90 days are permanently deleted from our databases and cannot be recovered. On the other hand, numeric counters (eg: daily, monthly, total impressions, etc.) are retained for as long as the client's account is active.
