Help Center Manage Your Account Ad Targeting using Restrictions

Target ads by visitor country

This geo-targeting feature can display an ad to visitors from one or more target countries or hide it from visitors from certain countries. You can select multiple countries by holding Ctrl/Command key.

Example - Local Business

A pet fish advertiser in San Diego can only ship locally within USA because of export restrictions and regulations. This advertiser only wants to target his ads to US visitors so that there are no unwanted impressions or clicks from foreign sources that cannot become his potential customers.

Example - International Outreach

A university wants to reach out to more international prospective students and parents. Ads for this university are set to block/hide from US visitors. They will be displayed only to non-US visitors.
